City Announces Midtown Neighborhood Stabilization Plan for Hopewell/Mann


The City of Santa Fe’s Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency, in partnership with MASS Design Group, Chainbreaker Collective, Santa Fe Indigenous Center, and Ideas & Action, has launched a Midtown Neighborhood Stabilization Plan to support the Hopewell/Mann neighborhood as Midtown development continues.

On August 13, City leaders and community partners hosted a press conference to introduce this year-long initiative, which aims to ensure future development is equitable, fair, and affordable, while reducing displacement and preserving neighborhood character.

 

Background:
The Plan, awarded to a local collaborative team, brings together expertise in community-led planning, Indigenous advocacy, and neighborhood design. Hopewell/Mann residents will play a central role in shaping recommendations for the area’s future.
